Acer Campestre

This comes under the category of a medium tree reaching a height of around 25 to 35 feet. Allow similar for spacing/spread. It has a slow growth rate. The rich green leaves change colour turning yellowish in the autumn. On occasion may also have red or gold-brown tones.

Likes sun to partial shade and a moist but well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and capable of surviving in areas of high air pollution, which is good news.

Expected life span is around 50 to 100 years. It spends the first 20-25 years growing, becoming fully mature around 40 to 50 years old.
