This comes under the listing of small tree or shrub. It grows to a height of approximately 6 to 12 feet. Allow 6 ft for spacing/spread. The appearance is more bush than tree-like but it can be trained to climb. This plant produces attractive flowers from almost white to pale pink tones, sometimes even deep pink. These blooms have a light fragrance described as refreshing and appear around June. It produces scarlet red berries (rosehips) in the autumn and has few thorns.
