Cuckoo Flower
Cardamine pratensis

Belonging to the Brassicaceae or 'mustard' family, Cuckoo Flower is often found in wet woodland and damp meadows. It particularly likes the semi-shade that can be found at the meadow's perimeter.

This plant is one that can be easily overlooked until it blooms when it produces clusters of pale pink or white flowers from April to June. It grows from approximately 8 inches to 2 ft in height with a small spread of around 4 inches at the base. It likes full to partial shade.
