Carex Pendula

Carex is a well-known Latin definition of plants. Pendula/Pendulous means pendant, as in hanging. This is an ornamental grass - a tall variety growing up to 6 feet. The foliage is blue-green/evergreen. It produces flowers from spring to the end of August, which are pendulous brown 'catkins'. It is a very elegant plant.

It likes sun but with partial shade. This plant likes moist soil - do not let it dry out.
