Carex pseudocyperus

Carex is a well-known classification of plants. This is an ornamental grass.

It is a tufted sedge, growing up to approximately 3 feet in height. It blooms with 'spikes' that are heavy and drooping. It is yellow-pale green in colour.

In the wild it is found in wet environments, even in swamps, so it is ideal for planting very close to water features and ponds.
