Bolboschoenus Martitimus

Bolboschoenus derives from two Greek words 'bolbos', being a reference to a bulb or swelling and 'schoenus' meaning rush. This plant may be known as Sea Clubrush or Marsh Clubrush or even Marsh Club Sedge.

This ornamental grass can grow as high as 6 feet in some cases, though may also be shorter.

It blooms in late spring to early and mid summer with dark brown flowers, followed by small seeded clusters of brown spokes.

This is a hardy plant. It likes sun to partial shade but loves water; therefore, it is perfect for pond edging, or a water garden.
