Juncus bulbosus

Juncus simply means Rush. This is an ornamental grass. It blooms from late spring to the end of the summer with reddish-brown 'seeded' (bulbed) flowers. It grows from a 'bulbed' base of pink tones into bright green leaves. The pink tones spreads up the stems as it increases in height. It is an attractive and unusual looking plant.

It can be found/located in various places on damp soil/situations and even in running water. It will be happy around the edge of a pond.
