Luzula Sylvatica

Sylvatica roughly means of or from the forest. This plant is grown for its foliage.

This plant grows up to 18 inches in height. It blooms from April into June with brown flowers. The leaves are tan strips.

It likes light to partial shade. It may tolerate full shade. It prefers to be kept moist but has been known to survive a drought, though that's no reason to neglect it.
