This may also be known as English Lavender. Although many include Lavender in the herb section it is a small shrub. It grows in height up to 3ft. Allow 2 to 3ft for spread. Hardly necessary to describe, it blooms with clusters of small blue-violet coloured flowers and is a fragrant plant.

It likes full sun. It is not used for culinary purposes but dried to use in arrangements and potpourri for its scent. Still, it is a welcome addition to any herb garden.
